Anand: Canada wants to strengthen its economic partnership with Pakistan
Ottawa, July 20 (Hibya) – Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced that she discussed enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Anand said, “Canada and Pakistan have an opportunity to build a stronger economic partnership that benefits both countries.”
Stating that they discussed increasing trade and investment, strengthening ties between the business communities, and creating new commercial opportunities, Anand added, “We also discussed the strong people-to-people ties created by more than 300,000 Canadians of Pakistani origin.”
