Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei claimed that the United States carried out attacks on the maritime surveillance tower in Chabahar and on civilian infrastructure facilities in several parts of the country.

Speaking on behalf of the Foreign Ministry, Baghaei alleged that on June 16 the United States targeted the surveillance tower serving maritime security and navigation in Chabahar.

Baghaei also claimed that the United States recently attacked electrical facilities and seawater desalination pumps at the Bunci pier in the city of Jask, cutting off access to drinking water for more than 10,000 people.

He argued that the attacks violated international law and the principles of civilian protection, criticizing the United States and its allies.
