European Parliament member Tom Berendsen met with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Berendsen said the meeting was productive and highlighted Qatar’s role in the process. “We had a valuable discussion in Doha with Prime Minister Al Thani regarding the U.S.-Iran negotiations. Qatar’s leadership role is greatly appreciated,” he said.

Emphasizing the importance of stability and freedom of navigation in the Middle East, Berendsen stated: “Stability and freedom of navigation across the Middle East are of critical importance both for our countries and for the global economy.”
