Dar held a phone call with his French counterpart Barrot
Islamabad, April 10 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
Barrot congratulated Pakistan on the role it played in securing the first ceasefire agreement and expressed support for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts for a diplomatic path toward lasting peace and stability in the region.
Both leaders expressed concern over serious ceasefire violations in Lebanon and emphasized the importance of full compliance with and respect for the ceasefire.
