Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met in Doha with Father Elie Adib Madi, Head of the Maronite Patriarchate’s Washington Mission and Special Representative of the Maronite Patriarch in Lebanon.

During the meeting, ongoing cooperation efforts, particularly joint projects in the fields of humanitarian aid and development, were discussed. The parties also reviewed several regional issues of mutual interest.

Minister Al Misnad stated that they appreciated the outcomes of the cooperation with the Maronite Patriarchate’s Washington Mission and the mission’s work, emphasizing that Qatar would continue supporting humanitarian and development initiatives.

Father Madi, for his part, expressed his appreciation for Qatar’s support for humanitarian activities and development projects carried out at both the regional and international levels.
