The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Hezbollah operatives were targeted in an air operation carried out in southern Lebanon.

According to the military, the intelligence-led strike neutralized seven individuals who were alleged to be carrying weapons and posing a threat to Israeli forces.

The operation was reportedly conducted in southern Lebanon near the Israeli border. The statement claimed that the targeted individuals were using a building for military purposes and transferring weapons.

The IDF added: "The IDF will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to attack the citizens of the State of Israel or its forces and will continue operating to eliminate threats."
