Iran reports attack on Natanz nuclear facility
Tehran, March 21 (Hibya) - Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that an attack was carried out on the country's Natanz nuclear facility on Saturday.
According to CCTV, the security situation around the facility is being closely monitored following the attack.
According to official data, the IAEA stated that no increase in radiation levels outside the facility has been reported. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi called on the parties to exercise military restraint to prevent the risk of a nuclear accident.
It was reiterated that attacks on nuclear facilities could have serious consequences for human safety, the environment and regional stability.
The IAEA said it is reviewing the report on the attack and is monitoring developments via social media.
