Israeli Foreign Minister Saar holds phone call with Peruvian counterpart Espa
Israel, Aug. 3 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said he discussed bilateral relations, cooperation with Latin America, and the impact of El Niño during a phone call with Peruvian Foreign Minister Carlos Espa.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he held a telephone conversation with Peru's new Foreign Minister, Carlos Espa.
Saar said he congratulated his counterpart on assuming office and invited him to visit Israel.
The discussion covered relations between Israel and Peru, Israel's expanding cooperation with Latin America, and potential joint initiatives through Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV).
Saar also said the two sides discussed the challenges posed by El Niño, adding that Israel stands ready to support Peru in strengthening its disaster preparedness and resilience. The two ministers also agreed to meet again soon to further develop bilateral relations.
