Kaja Kallas announced that cooperation will be expanded to include security and the fight against next-generation threats.

Expressing her satisfaction with her contacts in Rabat, Kallas said, "Morocco is a close, reliable and strategic partner for the European Union. I was pleased to meet Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Rabat."

Highlighting the depth of economic integration between the two sides, Kallas noted, "The EU is Morocco’s largest trading partner and biggest foreign investor."

Explaining future goals, Kallas stated, "The foundation of our partnership is already very strong. However, we will further strengthen it, including in areas such as maritime security and resilience against hybrid threats."
