Macron: France is ready to provide assistance after the earthquake in Venezuela
Paris, June 25 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he had spoken with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez following the earthquake that struck Venezuela.
French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela following the powerful earthquake that affected Caracas and several regions of the country, extending his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to everyone affected by the disaster.
Macron said that France, together with its European partners, is ready to provide support in line with the needs identified by the Venezuelan authorities. "France stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and is ready to provide assistance to the affected population," he said.
Macron also announced that a team of 85 specialized French rescue personnel would be deployed immediately to support search, rescue, and debris removal operations.
