Seyed Abbas Araghchi made a statement regarding his meeting with Wang Yi in Beijing, the capital of China.

Araghchi said the meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, noting that the parties reaffirmed Iran’s sovereign rights and its right to protect its national dignity.

During the meeting, it was reported that China’s four-point proposal aimed at preserving and developing regional peace and stability was positively evaluated by Iran.

In the statement emphasizing the Iranian side’s trust in China, it was stated that Beijing is expected to take a more active role in advancing ceasefire and reconciliation processes. Support was also expressed for the idea of establishing a new regional order that balances development and security in the post-war period.
