Mixed performance in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, June 2 (Hibya) - Major indices traded across Asia-Pacific markets displayed a mixed performance in the new trading session.

In Australia, the ASX 200 index fell 0.37 percent to 8,697 points, while Japan’s Nikkei index lost 1.38 percent to trade at 66,011 points. India’s Nifty 50 index also declined 0.40 percent to 23,288 points.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index (HSI) maintained its upward trend. The index rose 1.46 percent to 25,768 points.
On mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index followed a largely flat course. The index traded at 4,056 points, posting a limited decline of 0.04 percent.
As a result, Hong Kong stood out positively during the first part of the day, while selling pressure dominated the indices in Japan, Australia and India.
