Moldova's Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the large-scale missile and drone attack carried out against Ukraine during the night.

The ministry said that civilian, energy, railway and logistics infrastructure was targeted in the attacks, with many people killed and dozens injured.

The ministry reported that one of the drones targeting Ukraine crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, stressing that this constituted a violation of international law and a serious threat to the country's sovereignty and security.

Moldova's Foreign Ministry stated that it stands in full solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
