Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, together with Defense Minister Israel Katz, visited the 96th Division of the Israel Defense Forces.

The statement said, "They visited one of the ‘waterline positions’ developed to establish a defense line along the border; there they received a detailed briefing on efforts to strengthen defense along the eastern border, including the construction of the barrier and the deployment of new, advanced equipment."

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, the Prime Minister’s Military Secretary, the Commander of the 96th Division, and senior military officials also attended the visit.
