Member countries of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format) announced new contribution packages aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

According to information provided by the Ukrainian side, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, Iceland, and Australia will provide more than $1 billion in support under the PURL program. This package has become the largest PURL contribution announced to date within the Ramstein format.

In addition, Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain, and Lithuania reportedly provided more than $500 million in additional support through contributions to the Czech ammunition initiative and the procurement of long-range ammunition.

The United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Norway also announced funding commitments of approximately $1 billion for projects aimed at increasing Ukraine’s drone and missile production capacity.

The Kyiv administration emphasized that all contributions strengthen not only Ukraine’s defense capabilities but also shared European security. Officials assessed that the support would “accelerate the path toward a just and lasting peace.”
