Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a statement directed at the country's defense forces.

Stating that the armed forces follow the teachings of Imam Ali, Pezeshkian said:

"The diligent members of the armed forces are followers of Ali (peace be upon him), who said: 'Even if the mountains move from their place, stand firm. Clench your teeth. Submit your head to God. Plant your feet firmly on the ground and look at the end of the enemy army. Know that victory comes from Almighty God.'"

Pezeshkian expressed his support for the army’s struggle and concluded his remarks by saying: "May God strengthen your victory and crush your enemy."
