Doha, July 19 (Hibya) – Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a phone call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi.

According to a statement issued by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers discussed strengthening bilateral relations, the latest regional developments, diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalation, and coordination on security matters.
The statement said that Qatar strongly condemned Iran's renewed attacks on Jordanian territory, describing them as a violation of Jordan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Qatar called on all parties to remain committed to dialogue and diplomacy, stressing that ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz under the understanding reached between the United States and Iran is essential for regional security and stability. The statement also reaffirmed Qatar's continued support for all efforts aimed at reducing tensions and achieving lasting peace.
