Saar: Israel will continue to exercise its right to self-defense
Jerusalem, March 30 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
During his conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, Israeli Foreign Minister Saar expressed concern over the rise in violent antisemitic incidents in the United Kingdom.
Referring to the arson attack on ambulances belonging to the “Hatzalah” organization last week, Saar said: "Antisemitism is rapidly spreading in the UK and other countries and must be eradicated at its roots."
Saar also expressed concern that the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s decision to expel the Iranian ambassador remained only on paper, adding: "The Lebanese government’s decision to disarm Hezbollah has also remained on paper. The claim that the Lebanese army established operational control in southern Lebanon up to the Litani River three months ago was also baseless."
Saar further emphasized that the launch of 5,000 missiles, rockets, and drones toward Israel since March 2 is entirely real, stating: "Israel has the right to defend itself and will continue to act to protect its citizens."
