In Australia, the ASX 200 index rose to 8,982 points, gaining 0.13 percent, while in Japan the Nikkei index climbed to 58,342 points, posting a limited increase.
In India, the Nifty 50 index reached 24,221 points with a 1.59 percent rise, while in Hong Kong the Hang Seng index also increased to 26,069 points.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.37 percent to 4,041 points.
Thus, a positive course stood out across stock markets in the region overall.
