Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The U.S. Embassy in Ankara warned citizens about fraudulent attempts related to visa applications.

The statement noted that some individuals are attempting scams by promising preparation for visa interviews for a fee: “Did someone tell you they can ‘prepare’ you for your visa interview for a fee? This is a scam attempt.”

Common fraud methods include fake websites, emails promising visas for a fee, and redirections through third parties.

The statement emphasized that applicants are responsible for the content of their applications: “Providing false information may result in your application being denied and your entry into the United States being permanently banned.”

The embassy also stressed that those involved in visa fraud will be subject to criminal prosecution.

It was also noted that similar warnings exist in European Union (EU) countries and citizens should only use official application channels.
