Wong: Russia’s attacks targeted Ukraine and Latvia
Vienna, July 25 (Hibya) – Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said that at least 15 people were killed in Russia’s July 24 attacks on Kyiv and Sloviansk, while the building of Latvia’s Honorary Consulate in Ukraine was also damaged.
Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong issued a statement regarding Russia’s July 24 attacks on Kyiv and Sloviansk.
Wong said that Latvia’s Honorary Consulate was destroyed in the attacks and that two consular staff members were injured. Expressing sorrow over those killed and injured, Wong said, “Our thoughts are with Ukraine and Latvia. We stand with them in their struggle against Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression.”
