Zelensky noted that the meeting was productive and that cooperation is progressing in three main areas. He said these areas include cooperation aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s security capacity, particularly air defense, efforts to enhance resilience in the energy sector, and food security.

Stating that they aim to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of the peoples and partners of both countries, Zelensky said that the relevant teams are working in line with the defined tasks and that he expects the process to move forward quickly.

Emphasizing that such bilateral contacts contribute to rebuilding trust at a time of increasing uncertainty in international relations, Zelensky added that developments in the Middle East and the Gulf region were also discussed during the meeting.

Zelensky stated that they will continue to contribute to efforts aimed at increasing security in the region.
