Baqaei: Germany has consistently justified genocide against Palestinians
Tehran, June 5 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei claimed that Germany's foreign policy actions and military support have damaged its diplomatic standing in the international arena.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei commented on Germany's failure to secure a non-permanent seat on the United Nations (UN) Security Council, arguing that the outcome reflected a global reaction to Berlin's Middle East policies.
Commenting on the voting result and its reasons, Baqaei said: "Germany's failure to obtain a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the first time in decades constitutes a strong condemnation from the international community. This reflects growing global outrage over the German government's irresponsible, hypocritical and complicit stance toward the genocide in Gaza and the U.S.-Israeli military aggression against Iran."
Criticizing Berlin's relations with Israel and its position on regional crises, Baqaei stated: "Germany, as one of the largest suppliers of lethal weapons to Israel, has consistently justified the genocide against Palestinians."
Baqaei concluded his statement by saying: "When the Israeli regime launched its aggression against Iran, Berlin refused to condemn it; instead, it shamelessly described it as 'Israel doing the dirty work for all of us'."
