Budrys: Hezbollah must end all its destabilizing actions
Vilnius, April 17 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said they welcomed the 10-day ceasefire announced between Israel and Lebanon through U.S. mediation.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys drew attention to the obstacles standing in the way of lasting peace.
Commenting on the ceasefire announcement, Budrys said, "We welcome the 10-day ceasefire announced by the United States between Israel and Lebanon."
Stating that Hezbollah must be disarmed, Budrys said, "Hezbollah must immediately disarm and end all its destabilizing actions."
Emphasizing that regional security must be preserved, Budrys stated, "Further threats or escalation are unacceptable and will undermine hopes for lasting peace."
