Canada appoints four women leaders to diplomatic posts in the United States
Ottawa, July 15 (Hibya) – Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand announced that four experienced women leaders will be appointed to diplomatic posts in different cities across the United States. Anand said the new appointments will help strengthen Canada–U.S. relations and expand economic opportunities.

According to Anand, Andrea Clements will serve in Detroit, Claire Kennedy in Chicago, Kamal Khera in Los Angeles, and Susannah Pierce in New York.
The foreign minister stated that the appointees bring significant experience and strong leadership skills, adding that they will advance Canada's interests in their new roles.
Anand noted that these appointments are intended to further strengthen Canada's relationships with its partners in the United States, deepen cooperation, and create new economic opportunities for Canadians.
