Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand made a statement regarding Canada's decision to designate TKMS as the preferred supplier for its submarine procurement project.

In a social media post, Anand said, "Canada's decision to move forward with TKMS as the preferred supplier is an investment in our security, our workers, and our future."

Anand stated that this partnership will strengthen the Royal Canadian Navy, create jobs across the country, deepen cooperation with NATO allies, and help protect Canadian citizens for decades to come.

She emphasized that this cooperation marks an important step in enhancing Canada's defense capabilities.
