Croatian Foreign Minister Radman participated in a virtual meeting on the Strait of Hormuz initiated by the United Kingdom. Radman highlighted the serious escalation of conflicts in the region and their humanitarian impacts, stressing that the safety of seafarers is a priority.

The meeting also highlighted the role of Croatia’s Krk LNG terminal and the Adriatic oil pipeline JANAF in ensuring continuity of energy supply and strengthening Europe’s energy resilience.

Representatives of more than 40 countries attending the meeting warned that possible disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz could have serious global consequences and once again emphasized the importance of coordinated international action based on diplomatic and economic solutions.
