Dar holds phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi
Islamabad, June 27 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, spoke by phone with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
During the conversation, the two sides discussed regional and global peace and stability. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to continuing its constructive role in promoting lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi thanked Pakistan for its continued support in advancing the peace process. He also expressed his gratitude to Pakistan for its contribution to ensuring the safe and smooth return of Iranian crew members and fishermen to their homeland.
The statement noted that the two sides agreed to remain in close contact.
