According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China.

Dar emphasized Pakistan’s continued commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy to achieve lasting peace and stability in the Middle East and West Asia.

Jiang Zaidong, in turn, appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing peace and security in the Middle East and the Gulf region.

Both sides underscored their hope that ongoing efforts would lead to lasting peace and security in the region in the interest of all parties.
