Eu Day Light

A forum titled "Protecting the Individual and Safeguarding Society" was held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, as part of the 2026 Global Day Against Drugs.

The forum was held under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer and attended by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Chairman of the Sharjah Environment Authority Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, and a number of senior officials.

During the event, organized by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, efforts to combat and prevent drug abuse, initiatives to raise public awareness, and measures to strengthen the security system were discussed.

At the end of the forum, Military Police Commander Colonel Mohammed Salem Al Kutubi was honored for his support of inter-institutional cooperation and national initiatives aimed at protecting society.

Officials emphasized that awareness campaigns and coordination among institutions are of great importance for public safety and the fight against drugs.
