According to The Guardian, Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump were evacuated from the White House Correspondents' Association dinner in the U.S. due to a security breach.

Officials stated that a suspect bypassed the security checkpoint at the event entrance and moved inside, causing brief panic. Security camera footage showed a person running through metal detectors while security forces intervened with drawn weapons.

Police reported that the suspect was carrying a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives during the incident. The detained suspect was identified as Cole Tomas Allen (31). It was stated that the suspect was not shot but is being kept under observation in the hospital.
