Israeli President Isaac Herzog stated that ahead of Memorial Day, they met with families who lost relatives in terrorist attacks, emphasizing life and hope.

Herzog said, “We hosted families who lost their loved ones in acts of terror. We listened to the stories of people whose lives were cruelly cut short.”

Speaking about those who lost their lives, Herzog said, “They were people full of love, friendship, and dreams; they left deep marks in the hearts of everyone who knew them.”

Emphasizing solidarity and remembrance, Herzog added:

“They sought to destroy them, but we choose life, memory, building, and hope. We will remember them forever and keep their memory alive.”
