IDF: Rocket and UAV attacks thwarted in southern Lebanon
Jerusalem, May 2 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that rocket and explosive drone attacks launched against them from southern Lebanon were thwarted. No casualties were reported.
IDF stated that the air force recently successfully destroyed a rocket fired toward Israeli soldiers operating in the southern Lebanon region.
The statement said that in several separate incidents during the day, Hezbollah (Hezbollah) sent rockets and explosive-laden unmanned aerial vehicles to points close to areas where Israeli forces are operating in southern Lebanon.
Officials said the attacks were thwarted and no casualties occurred. It was also noted that warning systems were not activated under current security protocols.
Tensions in the region continue alongside mutual military activities.
