Zelensky: We continue to enforce sanctions against Russia’s shadow oil fleet
Kyiv, May 3 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that two tankers used by Russia for oil transportation were targeted.
Zelensky said: “Our fighters continue to enforce sanctions against Russia’s shadow oil fleet. Two such vessels were struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk.” He added that these tankers were actively used for oil transport and are now no longer operational.
Zelensky also stated: “I am grateful to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, who led the operation, to the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, and to our Navy.” He added that Ukraine’s long-range capabilities will continue to be developed at sea, in the air, and on land.
