Large-scale airstrikes were carried out on Tehran, Iran’s capital
Tehran, March 29 (Hibya) - On the 30th day of U.S.-Israeli operations, Iran’s capital Tehran and the country’s strategic provinces were hit by a new wave of airstrikes; the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened retaliation that would include educational institutions.
According to CCTV, loud explosions were heard in eastern Tehran at around 09:00 local time on Sunday. The large-scale attacks, which have continued since Saturday, caused panic across the city.
According to official data, a water storage system with a capacity of 10 thousand cubic meters was targeted in Iran’s southwestern Khuzestan province.
Authorities said there were no casualties in the attack and that the local water supply was not disrupted.
In a statement issued by the IRGC on Sunday, it was announced that in response to the destruction of two Iranian universities in the latest operations, all Israeli and U.S. universities in the region had become “legitimate targets”.
