Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Phuangketkeow held a meeting within the framework of the BRICS Foreign Ministers Meeting held in New Delhi, India.

During the meeting, the development of relations between the two countries was discussed. The parties exchanged views on increasing cooperation in trade, investment, science, technology, and humanitarian fields, as well as strengthening the legal framework of bilateral relations.

In addition, views were exchanged on coordinating cooperation within multilateral platforms, especially BRICS, as well as on current international and regional developments.
