Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva announced that more than 10 million formal jobs have been created and that the minimum wage has increased in real terms.

Assessing the country's economy, Lula said inflation has slowed and unemployment is among the lowest levels in the country's history.

Lula stated that more than 10 million formal jobs have been created and that the minimum wage has once again increased in real terms. “We are governing by growing the economy, creating opportunities and ensuring that the results reach the lives of those who need them most,” he said.

Emphasizing that Brazil is moving forward, Lula said: “Brazil is moving forward. We will do more.”
