Meloni: We discussed Italian youths in Crans Montana with Switzerland
Yerevan, May 4 (Hibya) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Swiss Confederation President Guy Parmelin on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan to discuss healthcare costs and the situation of families following the incident in Crans Montana.
Italian Prime Minister Meloni held a meeting with Swiss Confederation President Guy Parmelin on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
Meloni stated that during the meeting they discussed healthcare services and hospital care processes for the families of Italian youths affected by the tragedy in Crans Montana.
The statement noted that the Swiss side made a political commitment not to request any obligations regarding hospital care.
Meloni also indicated that the issue of billing hospital expenses is being evaluated by the Swiss Federal Council.
The Italian Prime Minister added that dialogue will continue in order to resolve the issue quickly and definitively.
