European Parliament President Roberta Metsola visited Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

In her statement, Metsola said, “There is something special about Croke Park. It goes far beyond Irish sport; it is about belonging, community and traditions passed down from generation to generation.”

Stating that this spirit reflects Europe’s core values, Metsola added, “This is the essence of Europe: a society built on deep roots, local heritage and a shared history shaped over centuries.”

Thanking officials of the Gaelic Athletic Association, Metsola said, “Thank you for the warm welcome and for sharing your insights into the heart of Gaelic games.”
