Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal said in an interview with China Media Group (CMG) that his country is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in new areas.

Khanal stated that infrastructure construction has long been at the center of cooperation between the two countries and that they want to focus on deepening cooperation and improving connectivity in this field.

Emphasizing that hospitals, healthcare centers, and schools built with Chinese assistance have directly improved the daily lives of people living in rural areas of Nepal, Khanal also drew attention to China's rapid development in science and technology.

Shishir Khanal said that Nepal hopes to learn from China's development experience and achievements in fields such as artificial intelligence and robotics, while further expanding cooperation by strengthening Nepal's own technological capabilities.
