Pakistan and Egypt foreign ministers discuss regional developments
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments, particularly in Gaza, and diplomatic resolution efforts.
Dar held a phone call with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
During the call, current developments in the region, especially in the Gaza Strip, were discussed. It was reported that the parties evaluated diplomatic efforts aimed at improving the regional situation.
The Pakistani side emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving all issues, reiterating its commitment to peace, stability, and constructive engagement.
The two ministers also expressed hope that the upcoming new round of negotiations between Iran and the United States would contribute to lasting peace and agreed to remain in contact.
