Islamabad, August 19 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, matters of mutual interest were discussed during the call.
Dar reiterated Pakistan's strong support for multilateralism and the central role of the UN. Thanking Guterres for his leadership and efforts over the years, Dar stated that the two sides agreed to remain in close contact.
