Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar holds talks with Qatari counterpart Al-Thani
Doha, March 28 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, discussing regional military tensions and peaceful solutions.
Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al-Thani held a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar.
During the call, the dangerous effects of military tensions in the region and their implications for regional and global security and stability were discussed. The parties emphasized the need to resolve all disputes through peaceful means.
Prime Minister Al-Thani stressed the importance of stopping unjust attacks against Qatar and countries in the region, warning against targeting critical infrastructure, particularly those related to water, food, and energy.
Both sides also highlighted the need to strengthen coordination, intensify joint efforts, return to the negotiation table, and prioritize reason and prudence in managing the crisis, reaffirming the importance of ensuring global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental security, and regional stability.
