Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a field visit for diplomatic missions to support the nomination of the Sebastia archaeological site for inscription on the World Heritage List.

As part of the program, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage, the Nablus Governorate, and the Municipality of Sebastia, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions visited the archaeological site.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the site's historical and cultural significance, as well as on Palestine's ongoing efforts related to its UNESCO nomination process.

Palestinian Minister of Tourism and Heritage Hani Al-Hayek said the purpose of the visit was to inform diplomatic missions about the situation in the area and the challenges facing the site.

Nablus Governor Ghassan Daghlas called on the international community to take more effective steps to protect Palestinian cultural heritage.

Officials from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that diplomatic efforts are continuing to secure international support for the Sebastia file and advance the UNESCO nomination process.
