Czech President Pavel stated that in Europe the influence of a state is determined not by its size but by its activity and clear stance, adding that Lithuania has demonstrated this approach for a long time.

Pavel said that they meet regularly with their Lithuanian partners and added, “We share a similar perspective on the security of Europe and the role of allies within NATO. Our cooperation in the fields of defense, trade and science has continued to develop for a long time.”

Pavel also thanked the Lithuanian president for the hospitality shown to them at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius.
