Eu Day Light

An upward trend stood out in Asia-Pacific regional indices on the first trading day of the week. As investor appetite strengthened across the region, all major indices remained in positive territory throughout the day.

In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.48 percent to 8,698.50 points. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 1,998.69 points, rising 3.16 percent to reach 65,337.76.

In India, the NIFTY 50 index traded at 23,936.85 points, up 0.92 percent, while in Hong Kong the Hang Seng Index rose 0.86 percent to 25,606.03.

A positive outlook was also observed in Chinese markets. The Shanghai Composite index gained 0.57 percent to 4,136.246 points.

Thus, the upward trend continued across all regional indices.
