Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar met with US Senator Rick Scott in Jerusalem. Commenting on the meeting, Sa'ar described Scott as a true friend of the State of Israel and the Jewish people.

Sa'ar stated that he had thanked Scott for his many years of support for Israel and said they had discussed the latest developments in the Middle East.

Sa'ar emphasized that Scott had taken a firm stance against the boycott movement and attempts to exert economic pressure on Israel. "Senator Scott stands firmly with Israel in the fight against the boycott movement and against attempts to impose unfair economic pressure on Israel," he said.
