Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of diplomatic relations between the two countries and cooperation on international platforms.

Sharing his assessment of the meeting, Sybiha noted that he congratulated his counterpart on his new position, stating: "I am grateful for Costa Rica's unwavering support for Ukraine, especially in the international arena."

Highlighting Costa Rica's role in critical international initiatives, Sybiha said: "I thanked Costa Rica for its participation in the Crimea Platform, the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, and the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine."

Sybiha also stated that they discussed future steps regarding the partnership between the two countries, saying: "We discussed further cooperation within the framework of these important initiatives."
