Sybiha spoke by phone with his Israeli counterpart Saar
Kyiv, April 2 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that during his phone call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, he conveyed his congratulations on the occasion of Passover and discussed strategic dialogue and energy cooperation between the two countries.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement about the details of his conversation with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar and about the latest situation in Ukraine.
Sybiha said that he conveyed his best wishes at the beginning of the conversation, stating: “I spoke by phone with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, and we conveyed our congratulations on the occasion of the beginning of Passover. I briefed my counterpart on the battlefield situation and Ukraine’s resilience throughout the toughest winter.”
Emphasizing the need to hold Russia accountable for war crimes, Minister Sybiha said: “I also recalled the anniversary of Bucha; that event painfully demonstrated that holding Russia accountable for its crimes is still extremely important.”
Thanking Israel for the humanitarian and technical support it has provided, Sybiha gave the following information:
“I thanked Israel for its energy assistance, especially the generators that helped Ukrainians get through this winter. We discussed ways to enhance Ukraine-Israel cooperation and strengthen our bilateral relations, as well as to maintain strategic dialogue at a high level.”
