Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Italian Foreign Minister Tajani gathered Italian ambassadors in the Middle East for a comprehensive meeting on the regional security situation.

Tajani stated that the Gulf crisis, developments in the Strait of Hormuz, and measures for citizens’ safety were discussed, instructing embassies to maintain continuous monitoring and rapid response.

In his statement, Tajani said: “I instructed our embassies to continue monitoring the security situation constantly and meticulously and to provide fast and effective support to Italians in the region.”

Emphasizing the goal of lasting peace in the Middle East, Tajani said: “Our common objective is lasting peace; a ceasefire agreement, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz ensuring freedom of navigation, and the end of Iran’s military nuclear program.”

Referring also to the situation in Lebanon, Tajani noted that developments are being closely monitored and said: “Iran must use its influence over Hezbollah to stop attacks against Israel.”

Tajani also noted that efforts are ongoing in coordination with European and international partners to reduce tensions and return to the diplomatic process.
